Cinderella

This is one of the many pages from my Grimm Brother's: Cinderella project in Childrens Book Illu. Basically in 10 weeks we had to put together an entire 32 page childrens book XD It was intense but deff worthe it XD

Liar Liar

The end product for our Liar Liar assignment in Editorial. We had to create a page illustration accompanied with supplied text :) I love how it turned out, and i'm very happy with my font choice as well (thank god i did something right with font).

Anyways i wanted to depict a white lie taking place, having a grandma give her grand-duaghter a hideous scarf, that will go straight into the trash bin XD

Wedding and other Snazzy news

This weekend i went to Alabama with my roomate for her fabulous sister's wedding. Sadly projects got the best of me and not until the night before heading out i was able to crank this lil number out for their gift XD Nothing like waiting till the last minute haha Anyways the weekend was fantastic and the ceremony was gorgeous *girl parts start to flutter*

Other then that i'm working on a new piece for Editorial based on the txt supplied in class, Liar Liar. I'm going to do something focusing on "white lies", things told so you won't hurt someones feelings DX But deff look for that in a week or two <3

miss Paris

My peiece for Celebrity Scandals in Editorial. Now it's not exactly what i wanted to begin with but i'm pretty happy with how it turned out. This one was deff the most shocking peice in the class as well, which was pretty awesome. XD

Editorial

This was an assignment i just finished up for Editorial Illu. The breif was on the art of gardening, so i chose to focus in on the rebirth aspect of it :D GAH! luckily we had Anita Kunz visiting class today during our critique and she loved it!!! i nearly peed my pants i was so excited <3

Anyways we're working a celebrity scandal peice next and i've narrowed it down to heidi montag's plastic surgery, winona ryder's shoplifting, russell crowe chucking a phone, and paris hiltons sex tape. BAH, not really set on one yet so we'll see what happens XD But yeah, expect that peice sometime soon i suppose <3

Materials and Techniques II

One of the many assignments for my Mat and Tech II class. The purpose of this project was to eminate C.F.Paynes' technique. And yes, it's time consumming but really rewarding. :)

Introduction to Illustration

Our first assignment of the quarter was to create a New Yorker cover and i chose to do it on the topic of airport security.

Our second assignment was based off of lymericks:

There was a young lady of Ryde,

Whose shoe strings were seldom untied;

She purchased some dogs,

and some small spotted dogs,

And frequently walked about Ryde.

The third assignment was a promotional poster. Everyone was doing band posters so i figured this would be a change of pace.

Our final assignment was to create custom circus charies and then create a bus side add using them. For my designs i decided to go with a burlesque, pin-up theme :)
